Golden Boy Promotions' Travell "Black Magic" Mazion Back In Action

Undefeated Travell Mazion heads back to the ring for 10 rounds.

Travell Mazion vs Deigo Cruz

Golden Boy Promotions' undefeated Travell "Black Magic" Mazion faces off with Frenando Castaneda of Mexico January 11th, 2020 at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. Mazion will enter his second fight scheduled for 10 rounds as he moves up in rank.

Mazion, who previously contended in 8 round matchups, dominated Mexico's Diego Cruz in his first ever match scheduled for ten rounds back in November 2019, showing great showmanship, and no visible signs of fatigue.

Travell trains extremely hard at camp, and it showed this past November against Cruz ," said manager Cleveland Jones Jr. " As we move up in rank we have no doubt that he will become the next world champ, but for now, we're taking it one fight at a time.

The Golden Boy fighter currently holds a perfect record of 16-0, 12 by way of knockout.

Travell was born in Florida but later moved to Austin, Texas where he began his boxing career under the leadership of former female world champion Ann Wolfe. Today, Mazion still resides in Austin, Texas but attends training camp in Little Rock, Arkansas under the leadership of Ozell Nelson, ex-trainer of former middleweight champion Jermain Taylor.
